Amazon

The Amazon forest

“The Jungle is new everywhere, but everywhere it saturates the senses with the brutal intensity and beauty of life that teems with it” – Thomas Marent

The Amazon rainforest is probably the geographical area with the highest biodiversity in the world. This reservoir of life is a privileged place for the naturalistic observation of birds, plants, mammals, amphibians, reptiles and insects. This fragile and mysterious ecosystem is of paramount importance to the planet. It produces 20% of the terrestrial oxygen and 10% of the volume of fresh water which, after a long journey along the Amazon Basin, will spill into the Atlantic Ocean. Thanks to its special climatic conditions, this environment offers the visitor a unique observation potential.
